Are planetary combinations inherited like genes?

Horoscope refers to personality and personalities inherit genetic characters so one question that can come your mind is do horoscopes inherit planetary combination from parent’s horoscopes. I have seen this in many horoscopes. Even I have seen patterns in the horoscopes of people coming from a particular region of the country. This again relates to Nadi Astrology where Nadi predictions also tell the region of birth.

In my analysis I found that usually people have major influence of either mother’s horoscope or father’s horoscope. Over the period of time you can judge it by just looking at the person. At least 6 to 7 planets have some relation to parent’s or grandparent’s horoscopes. The relation is in 3 ways as mentioned below:
  • Either same house or opposite house
  • Either same sign or opposite sign
  • 2-12 relationship of sighs and houses

2nd house is a house of family and it is very interesting to see 2-12 relationship between planets in various houses as well as signs with natives in same family.

In this study I will take example of the famous Gandhi family from India.  Below table shows houses and signs of all the planets for people in Gandhi family. Individuals are color coded and same color is used to show the relationship. For example Jawaharlal Nehru is coded as red and same color is used in all other columns to show planetary relationship between Jawaharlal Nehru and his other family members.

Unfortunately we don’t have birth time of Mr. Feroze Gandhi so I could not put houses for planets in Mr. Feroze Gandhi’s horoscope.

From the above table the inheritance of planets is very evident. It is interesting to observe inheritance of planets for Mrs. Indira Gandhi from Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru. 8 out of 10 planet’s signs and 7 out of nine planets houses are inherited from father. Mr. Sanjay Gandhi has inherited most of the planets from Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru and Mrs. Indira Gandhi. In case of Mr. Rajiv Gandhi the story is little different. Rajiv Gandhi has inherited many planets from his father, mother and grandfather. Mr. Rajiv Gandhi much looked like his father. It is also important to observe that most of the planets are inherited from parents more than grandparents.
It is also important to see if this experiment is statistically accurate and I am not statistical expert. Based on the permutations and combinations of above rules it is highly possible to think that almost all horoscopes can be covered by this rule and in reality we found that horoscopes outside the family can be identified easily based on above principles. I would urge you to map inheritance of planets for people in your family. In case you find something interesting kindly email us to mailto:gaurishb@gmail.com.
