        This was another exciting year for PnJ. This year our focus was on Vedic Math and we released 3 books on Vedic Math. We also started conducting courses for younger kids.
        The first book we released was 'Vedic Math for 8th class', second book was 'Vedic Math primary school arithmetic' and third book is 'Drawing and Feeling Math'. Vedic Math courses and books got very good response from all of you and I want to Thank you for your affection.
        Recently we launched an interesting course and this is to learn math with craft, art, acting and gaming. Everyone including us are thrilled with this. 
        We even released a book of Kalyani's Poems (Najar) and many people liked it. Some of them sent awesome reviews, some others sent their notes on her poems. Some are reading them regularly and presenting it in public forums with prior permission.
        In coming year, we want to design and deliver new courses and I want to publish my next research book on Vedic Astrology. This book will be Part 2 of 'Untold Vedic Astrology'.

The mystic meaning of Shree Saraswathi Yanthram

        Recently someone asked me about the scientific meaning of Shree Saraswathi Yanthram and I thought many of you may have same question. Many Hindus have been drawing and praying Shree Saraswathi Yanthram or Shree Saraswathi sign since childhood. Many of you may know that Shree Saraswathi is a goddess of 14 Vidya or sources of knowledge and 64 Kala or art forms. Therefore, she is also a goddess of creation and creativity.          On another note Shakthi is represented by a triangle in Vedic culture. The real meaning of word Shakthi is skill. My next upcoming Book: Vedic Astrology Practitioner Manual

As a student of Vedhic astrology, one of the challenges that I faced was studying classical texts. We have so many texts and every text has some exceptional content. Most of the translators did not get a chance to validate the principles mentioned in the texts and due to this, the accuracy of the translation was reduced. One example is Moola Rashi and Dhathu Rashi. This is well explained in my book ‘Untold Vedhic Astrology’. Due to all the reasons mentioned above, I started noting my own observations while studying various classical texts.         In one of my posts ( How cow is our mother can bull be our father ), I explained why cow is called ‘Gomatha’ or mother cow in Indian culture. Along with calling mother (as we have milk of the cow), it is also important to understand why only Indian cow milk and not any other cow milk.         Recently I came across an idea of A1 and A2 type of milk. Milk generally has three parts: Fats, Whey and milk solids. The milk solid part is composed of many different proteins, which have their own names, lactose, and other sugars. Vedic Astrology: Calculation of Ascendant or Lagna

Ascendant is the point of ecliptic on the eastern horizon at a specific time. Let us calculate the ascendant step by step To calculate this point tropical longitude of sun is required. Step 1: Calculate the tropical longitudes of the sun. Tropical longitude of sun = Nirayana longitudes + Ayanamsha. Step 2: Calculate the difference between the birth time (LMT) and a sunrise on a given day. This is called as Ishta kala . Step 3: Consider the sign in which the sun is in and the degrees he has traversed in that sign. ( Note: Consider the tropical longitudes of the Sun. ) Step 4: Calculate by direct proportion the expired portion of the sign the sun is in at the time of sunrise. Step 5: Calculate the unexpired portion by deducting the expired portion of the sign as calculated in the fourth step.
