My upcoming Book "Untold Vedic Astrology"

Here is an extract from the first chapter of Untold Vedic Astrology.

Astrology is interesting science and many people think that it is a mystic. Many principles in Vedic astrology are not well explained so it is considered as an occult subject. When we know principles, learning, and application of principles become easy and accurate.
As a sincere student of Vedic Astrology, you might have wondered how house allocations were decided or how Characteristics of planets or signs were decided. Some of you might already have some ideas but may not have details.
Just like you, I have been searching for answers to these questions for the last 24 years and could find many of them. Many more questions are still unanswered and we shall work together to research further.
Any astrologer needs to learn basic astronomy as answers to many questions lie in the knowledge of astronomy. Answers to a few questions lie in the knowledge of Ayurveda. Few more have come from spiritual concepts in Indian culture. As I got an opportunity to work in various fields, I could find few answers. Many things in this book may not be found anywhere else as it is my own research and few other authors have covered some of them.
Astrology is a practical science. Every horoscope that you see is unique and new to you. Therefore, you start researching the answer to the question using your analytical abilities and information in hand (horoscope). This is very similar to any other human science like psychology. In such cases, if you know the rationale behind the principles being applied, the accuracy of predictions and your confidence will be much higher.
Today, most astrologers get this either based on their own observations or on someone else’s experience and when predictions go wrong they wonder what did they miss. Then they wait to see an example where they get to understand more about the scenario that they could not predict correctly so mainly it becomes a trial and error mechanism. Some astrologers take a statistical approach. The statistical approach is very challenging because it is not so easy to collect an appropriate dataset.
The main purpose of this book is to explain Vedic astrology logically so that it can be extended to new scenarios that were not covered when Vedic Astrology was developed. Another purpose is to explain it in such a way that learning becomes easier and the accuracy of predictions can be increased.
I am sure that once you go through this book, your understanding of the topic shall increase and you may feel much more comfortable while applying many basic principles in Vedic astrology. It is possible that you will be able to extend what has been discovered and documented and you may be able to customize it to your cultural background. This is also one of the purposes of this book.

I want to hear from you, your stories, and your feedback as I need to extend my knowledge further. It is also important for all of us to develop astrology as a science and without everyone’s effort; we may not move in the right direction at a good pace.
The price of the book is Rs. 310 for Indian Subcontinent. The book is available on Amazon. A digital copy is available on Google Play.
